The Fort Worth Botanic Garden will offer free admission all day Saturday, September 19, as it kicks off this year's ¡Celebramos! celebration.
That means visitors can explore the Garden's entire 120-acre campus without buying a ticket or making a reservation. Public hours Saturday run from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with the last entry at 4 p.m.

And there's a lot more happening than simply walking through the gardens.
The celebration gets underway in the morning with an Abuelos Folklórico performance followed by the annual Latin American Flag Parade. Individuals, families, dance teams, sports teams and community organizations are invited to represent their countries of origin, with participants encouraged to wear traditional clothing or national colors.
Saturday's Schedule
- 8 a.m. — Garden opens to the public
- 10 a.m. — Flag parade registration and lineup
- 10:30 a.m. — Abuelos Folklórico
- 10 a.m.–3 p.m. — Mariposa Market
- 11 a.m. — Latin American Flag Parade
- Noon — Food and DJ dance party
- 5 p.m. — Garden closes
After the parade, the celebration continues with food and a DJ dance party.
Visitors can also shop the Mariposa Market, featuring as many as 50 local artisan vendors along with family activities, music, dancers and a kids craft area. The market runs from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Admission to the Garden is free Saturday as part of the ¡Celebramos! kickoff.
The free day launches several ¡Celebramos! events planned at the Garden, including additional cultural performances and activities celebrating Hispanic heritage.

The Fort Worth Botanic Garden is located at 3220 Botanic Garden Boulevard in Fort Worth. No advance ticket or reservation is needed for Saturday's free admission day.
