B96 DallasOctober 1, 20262 min read

Chipotle is bringing back its margaritas for a limited time this October, and Dallas is one of just five cities getting in on the comeback.

Even better, Dallas gets something the other stops won’t: a frozen version.

The Chipotle “Summon the Spirits Tour” comes to the Victory Park location at 2401 Victory Park Lane in Dallas on Friday, October 16 and Saturday, October 17, from 3 to 9 p.m.

Why Dallas Gets the Frozen Version

There’s a very Dallas reason behind it.

Chipotle is calling the Dallas stop “Where Spirits Freeze,” a nod to the city’s place in frozen-margarita history. Dallas is recognized as the birthplace of the world’s first frozen margarita machine, so the company is giving the city its own frozen version of the returning drink.

And no, this isn’t a nationwide menu rollout.

The margaritas are part of a five-city Halloween-themed tour making stops in Denver, New York, Dallas, Los Angeles and New Orleans. Each city gets the drinks for only two days.

More Than Just Margaritas

The participating Chipotle restaurants will also get a temporary Halloween makeover, with dedicated margarita bars, themed décor, interactive experiences and chances to win Chipotle prizes.

The tour leads into Chipotle’s annual Boorito Halloween promotion, which returns October 31. The company says more details on this year’s Boorito offer will be announced later in October.

So if you remember Chipotle margaritas from years ago — or never got the chance to try one — Dallas gets exactly two nights to see what all the nostalgia is about.
